Full Tor des Géants (TOR330) course data: aid stations, cutoffs, course profile

Enter a goal Tor des Géants finish time and get estimated arrival times at all 14 barrier points from Courmayeur through Valgrisenche, Cogne, Donnas, Gressoney, Valtournenche and Ollomont - 336.5 km and 26,182 m of climbing, with every official 2026 cutoff and your remaining buffer at each one.

Starting estimate based on the cutoff, not on published finish times. Replace it with your own goal.

Turns every arrival into a clock time and every cutoff into a margin.

Terrain changes how the goal time is shared between segments, not the total. One surface everywhere cancels out.

Highlighted rows use a pace heuristic (>12 min/km / >19 min/mi) - likely hiking by speed, not grade. The grade-based power-hike cue is ≥15% (see GAP and Incline tools). Times are distributed proportionally by km-effort.

Leave by is the latest you can start the next segment and still make every cutoff ahead of you at this pace - often set by a station further on, not this one. It does not yet subtract the time you spend stopped, so treat it as the optimistic edge.

Cutoff buffers are estimates from your goal time and published barriers. Courses and barriers change - verify against the official race guide.

About Tor des Géants

Tor des Géants is a 336.5km single-stage ultra-trail on the Alte Vie 1 and 2 of the Aosta Valley, with 26,182m of elevation gain across more than 25 cols, starting and finishing in Courmayeur. It is run in one push with a 150-hour limit and no mandatory stages: sleep is yours to schedule, which makes it a planning problem before it is a running one.

The first barrier is the hardest one. La Thuile sits at only 19km, but it closes at 15:30 - five and a half hours after the 10:00 first-wave start, for 1,495m of climbing. Distribute a 120-hour goal evenly across the course and this planner puts you at La Thuile an hour after it shuts. Nobody runs Tor des Géants at goal pace from the gun; the opening climb has to be covered well faster than your average, and the time you bank there is what you spend sleeping later.

Six life bases, and what they change. Valgrisenche (48.5km), Cogne (104km), Donnas (149.8km), Gressoney (203.8km), Valtournenche (237.5km) and Ollomont (286.5km) are the only points your TOR bag reaches and the only ones with a bed and a shower. Each publishes two barriers: an arrival time and a departure time two hours later. This planner stores the departure barrier, because that is the one you can miss by resting too long. Personal assistance is allowed in designated areas at the life bases and at La Thuile, Eaux Rousses, Rifugio della Barma, Niel, Champoluc, Oyace and Bosses.

Pacing guidance. The planner distributes your goal time across segments in proportion to their km-effort cost. For a 120-hour finish that puts you at roughly: Valgrisenche 17:30, Cogne 37:40, Donnas 51:25, Gressoney 72:10, Valtournenche 84:05, Ollomont 103:05. Treat these as the shape of the race rather than a schedule - they exclude sleep, and on a six-day race the difference between an effort-proportional split and your real clock is entirely how long you stop. Watch the buffer column: it tells you which barrier is actually binding, and on Tor that answer changes several times over the week.

Checkpoint data from the official 2026 TOR330 timetable - verify against the current race guide at torxtrail.com before your race. Cutoffs shown are for the first wave; second-wave starters add two hours to every one.

How the splits are allocated

Your goal time is split across the Tor des Géants legs by km-effort: distance + gain/100 + loss/200. Full methodology.
